Challenge
Live Earth's exisiting website was 2 years old and outdated with information from the 07.07.07 event. They were also using an older version of Wordpress and could not fully take advantage of the new version's features and upgrades. The new site design was provided by a third party firm but need reworking and changes in order to be used with in the template system.
Solution
The Wordpress engine was updated to the most current version and then several widget and applications were able to be utilized. Custom searches and page template were created to expand the site's user interface. New banners were created in Photoshop. The banners and Flash animation were color corrected to match the new color scheme.
